What is CROSSFIT?
CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing in any one fitness style.
We require you to think, use your brain as well as your muscles, learn, challenge yourself, try new things you never thought you could, and practice new skills that require you to be focused and present. We teach you how to move your body with proper mechanics, stability, balance, and agility.
You will feel the results in your everyday life.
Classes are designed for scalability and apply equally well to all individuals no matter their age or fitness level – as long as they are willing to put forth the effort. By varying the load and intensity, we start you at a level appropriate to your fitness level and experience. This means everyone does the “same” workout varied only by their ability to perform it.
What we do is not easy; the workouts are vigorous, but simply put, IT WORKS.
You will feel better than you have ever felt, you will feel younger, more fit, and have more energy with less aches and pains. You will accomplish physical feats you never thought possible and you will be stronger than you have ever been.
The beauty of our sport is that we are all in it together, motivating one another. It’s a sport where the person last to finish the workout receives more high fives than the person first to finish.
CrossFit is for EVERYONE
CrossFit is becoming more and more popular because anyone can do it, LITERALLY ANYONE.
Every workout can be scaled down to what you personally are able to do, and even the most out of shape people are able to complete a CrossFit workout (i.e. us when we all first started).
We all start somewhere
Every pro was once a BEGINNER just like YOU.
But they all started SOMEWHERE, just like YOU.
If you have some time on your hands, look up people who do CrossFit. You’ll see videos of an Army veteran with no legs doing a CrossFit workout. Yes, you read that right, NO LEGS. You'll see a 91 year old man lifting more weight and moving faster than a 26 year old! You'll see someone struggling with weight, completely transform to the person they have always wanted to be!
The fact of the matter is that no matter how bad you think are you at exercising, or how long it has been since you’ve been to the gym, you can do a CrossFit workout. Scaling exercises to a specific individual’s ability gives virtually anybody the opportunity to participate.

No one is judging, no one is eye rolling, everyone is on your side wanting you to become the best athlete you can be. More than that, outside of the gym there is a strong community too.
We come together when our athletes need our help! We have set up gofund me accounts for those who need help raising money for their parents who have cancer. We come together by donating gifts during Christmas to those in need! We come together by helping build homes for those who cannot afford to buy one. We threw a celebration party when one of our athletes completed their PhD. We celebrate birthdays, engagements, weddings, and accomplishments.
We are a community, we are friends, and most importantly we are a family.
